I had a good day today. At recess I played with the crayola rake thing. It is something that has 5 pieces of chalk at the end and you can draw with it all around and you can even do one at a time or how many you want, but you can do 5 if you want to do all of them. I drew lots of rainbow things, big and small, and I drew lines with them.
I had nachos with cheese, jello, chocolate milk and thats all I had for lunch. I forgot my silverware so I just drank the milk without the straw, I ate the nachos with my hands and I didn't eat the jello.
There was one thing that wasn't fun and it was really scary. Caroline is my classmate who sits next to me at my desk. She fell down backwards and her leg was hurting. She was sitting down and she didn't know that she was going to flip over and I was listening to the teacher and I heard a noise and then Caroline fell over onto her back. She is okay, her mom is a nurse at a different place (not at the school). She got to wheel in a wheelchair on her way back from the nurses office, just like me, that was pretty cool.
After school we got snow cones from Snow Monkey. Daniel wanted rootbeer but I wanted princeses, so we made a deal... Daniel got rootbeer and I got blood guts and eyeballs which is a type of snow cone.
I thought when I heard the back door, one of my baby sitters was coming but it was my dad. I was watching Mr Rogers Neighborhood on PBSKids.org. My mom liked seeing the Mr Rogers movies because she watched it when she was a kid. When they made the yellow crayons and when they made the balls and when the made the fortune cookies, mom said they were here favorite ones to watch.
My dad told me I had to write a story and then we were sitting down and eating our dinner and my dad was typing my story for me and I hope he can do that every time I write so my hands don't get tired.
I had grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for dinner. The sandwiches are really good to eat, because I really like cheese and I really like grilled cheese sandwiches. Daddy and mommy make the best sandwiches.
Hope everyone else had a great day.

ReplyDeleteTo explain the snowcone "deal", the extra small snowcone is too big for the kids so I order an extra small and ask them split it into two cups. The kids used to be able to come to an agreement on the flavor, but lately that has not been then case. I have implemented a new plan where they take turns choosing what the flavor will be. Yesterday Emily chose princess (a mix of bubble gum and cotton candy) and Daniel endured. Today it was Daniel's turn to choose and he decided on rootbeer. Emily, who probably needed a nap from the first week of school, started crying and having a fit about the rootbeer flavor. So I ordered the rootbeer flavor anyway, seeing that Daniel had to eat princess yesterday and it was his turn. It was not an unreasonable flavor, like Pickle Juice (which *is* on the menu). So the owner came to the window with two cups of blood guts and eyeballs and said "they remembered this is what you liked and had it made before I told them to make rootbeer, do they want to go ahead and have these". So I turned to the kids and with a cheery voice I said "how do you feel about blood, guts, and eyeballs". Emily excitedly started saying 'Yes, Yes, Yes' while hopping up and down in her carseat. Daniel went into full meltdown. So... Emily got blood, guts, and eyeballs and they made Daniel a half size rootbeer. Everyone was happy. Until I drove through Starbucks...
Emily, how fun to read about your day at school. Your caulk thing sounds like fun. I think I have seen something like that before. What a smart teacher.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of your new school? How about some pictures?
I'm looking forward to reading more about your week. Your going to be a great writer just like your mom and dad. Give everyone hugs from me.
Love you bunches,
